I happen to think the opposite.<BR/><BR/>Regardless, I see the name-change as a needed first step, a declaration of ownership. Sometimes the first step in defining a new social identity <B>is</B> a name-change to bind it all to; the proof is all over the Internet, I think, with the nicks, handles and aliases we use.<BR/><BR/>At this point, if she does trade this life in, it'll be after extensive restoration, and that'll be all to the good.
